Pierre Zéni first joined the editorial staff of Téléssonne, hosting the weekly cultural program, then the daily news bulletin and election evenings, before becoming editor-in-chief. He then moved to TPS, where he hosted Sorties en salles, a weekly magazine devoted to cinema news. The program won the ITEMS for best cinema magazine and best host. For the CANAL+ Group, he participated in the creation of TV du Festival de Cannes, which he still hosts today, and designed and set up the magazine program that accompanies the CINECINEMA and CINE INFO channels. Since then, he has been Deputy Program Director and Editor-in-Chief of CINE+, CANAL+'s cinema channels, and hosts L'instant cinéma, among other programs.
