Jane began her career in television, helping to write the Coronation Street arches, before going on to write over 50 episodes of some of the UK's most popular dramas, including EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Doctors, The Bill and Bad Girls. Her work has earned her a nomination at the British Soap Awards, and she and her team won Best Soap Drama at the Writers' Guild Awards. She was selected to take part in MediaXchange's Advanced Series Writing program and has developed ideas with leading UK production companies. A trained actress, Jane won Best Actress and Best British Fiction for her short film Dancing Alone at the Discover Film Festival in 2017. Her second short, Take Me Back, won Best Editing at the London Independent Film Festival and Best Photography at the Catfish Shorts! festival. Her first novel, Maddie & Anna's Big Picture, was published by Diva Books.
