Suze is a confident, emotionally balanced gay woman in her early twenties. She has a girlfriend she adores, Lulu, a dream job, and a lively, close-knit group of friends. But when her roommate starts a new women's soccer club and enlists Suze on the team, her years of repressed discomfort with her gender identity resurfaces and plunges her into anxiety. When her secret is revealed, her quest for a gender-neutral non-binary identity is accompanied by strong and unexpected repercussions that put her to the test.
