Interview with Eric Demarsan - Romance ( Wonderland )
Trained as a graphic designer and art director, Hervé Hadmar wrote and directed his first feature film, Comme un poisson hors de l'eau, in 1999, starring Monica Bellucci, Tcheky Karyo, Dominique Pinon and Michel Muller. He then concentrated for several years on writing feature films. A series creator and showrunner, in 2008 he created, co-wrote and directed his first series: Les Oubliées (6x52), with Jacques Gamblin, for France Télévisions. In 2010, he co-wrote and directed Pigalle, la nuit (8x52) for Canal +, and in 2011, he co-wrote and directed Signature (6x52), with Sami Bouajila and Sandrine Bonnaire. In 2013 and 2017, he co-wrote and directed Les Témoins seasons 1 and 2 for France Télévisions. A series currently broadcast in over 105 countries (including available on BBC4, Amazon). In 2015, he wrote and directed Au-delà des murs: un conte fantastique en 3x52 for ARTE, starring Veerle Baetens and Géraldine Chaplin. In 2019 and 2020, he is writing and directing Romance, 6x52 for France Télévisions with Pierre Deladonchamps and Olga Kurylenko. He is currently writing his first mini-series for Netflix: La part du feu, which he will direct in 2021.
