Aline Brosh McKenna is best known for adapting the best-selling novel The Devil Wears Prada and for co-creating and showrunning the Emmy Award-winning comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. McKenna also directed the final episode of each of the four seasons. She also wrote the feature films 27 Dresses, Morning Glory and New Beginnings ( We Bought a Zoo ). She recently launched her production company, Lean Machine, which supports projects that are inclusive, humane and centered on strong characters, and puts writers and writing at the center of the process.
