Meet the series' creative team, who tell us about its origins, their collaboration and their inspiration for this series where the main character seems to be a breathtaking place, nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The Swiss Alps, 1899. André Morel, an ambitious Swiss hotelier, has a bold vision: a five-star hotel that will remain open throughout the winter season. It's never been done before. Can his risky idea survive extreme weather conditions, untrained staff and demanding guests? This eight-part series, inspired by true events, depicts the birth of the snow vacation. It combines sumptuous period drama with compelling, character-driven stories full of hidden desires, ambition and love, set against a backdrop of modern music for a contemporary twist.
