Série Series brings together French creators who have brought to the screen stories directly inspired by true events. What sources of inspiration are true stories for creators? What impact does this retranscription and adaptation of facts involving existing or former people have on the creative process? What are the moral stakes and limits (including legal ones)? How do they shed light on the (dys)functioning of our society? How do they shed light on the fundamental workings of society and the human soul, both that of the protagonists and that of the genre's avid viewers?
