Valérie Zenatti is a writer, screenwriter and translator. Her books include Une bouteille dans la mer de Gaza, (L'École des loisirs, 2005, translated into fifteen languages and adapted for the screen with Thierry Binisti) and novels including Jacob, Jacob ( Prix du Livre Inter 2015). Her latest book, Dans le faisceau des vivants (ed. de l'Olivier, 2019, Prix France Télévisions 2019, essay category), is an account of the resonances of her literary and friendly relationship with Aharon Appelfeld, for whom she is the translator in France.
