Thomas Vincent
On the move: Possessions
Since the start of his career, Thomas Vincent has worked as a screenwriter and director for both film and television. His first film, Karnaval, won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1999. His second film, Je suis un assassin, was presented at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes. In 2015, he began a fruitful collaboration with CANAL+ for Le SAC : des hommes dans l'ombre with Tcheky Karyo, and Mister Bob with Clovis Cornillac. For him, these works paved the way for international series in English: Borgia, Tunnel and Versailles. At the same time, he wrote and directed two French-language feature films: Le nouveau protocole and La nouvelle vie de Paul Sneidjer. In 2018, Bodyguard was his first 100% British production. He recently directed Possessions, a French-Israeli co-production for CANAL+.
