Nanna Kristín is an Icelandic writer, director and producer, as well as one of Iceland's best-known actresses(Heartstone, Paris of the North, XL ). She is founder and director of CUBS Productions. Nanna Kristín graduated from the Vancouver Film School with a degree in screenwriting (film and television). In 2014, she made her debut with Playing with Balls, a short film that premiered at TIFF. Cubs, her second short film as writer-director, won Best Short Film at RIFF, The Icelandic Edda, Flickerfest, ECU and many others. Nanna Kristín was nominated in 2018 for the Nordisk Fikm & TV Fond Prize for Best Screenplay with Stella Blomkvist.
