Marike Muselaers has been working in the audiovisual sector for almost 15 years. She cut her teeth at Fortissimo Films and RTL Netherlands before joining the Lumière team. As Sales Director, she transformed a major DVD distributor into a centralized rights structure. After more than 10 years in sales, acquisitions and co-productions at Lumière, Marike Muselaers was recently appointed co-CEO of the Lumière Group, which is, in her own words, "an entire ecosystem in which production, distribution, as well as a digital platform, 3 cinemas and an animation studio work together to bring the best stories to audiences in the Benelux and the rest of the world". Beyond co-directing the Lumière Group and finding and developing new stories and captivating new characters, Marike is determined to create new business models in this dynamic, challenging but never boring industry.
