Louis Lagayette is a director/screenwriter based between Europe and the United States. He is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London and Columbia University in New York. Originally from Corsica, he grew up in Paris, where he practiced street art and began making short films. He then moved to London in 2010. There, he directed several music videos and short films before writing and directing his first feature film: Trendy. Trendy 's screenplay won him the Live Script Reading Award at the British Urban Film Festival in 2015. The film was selected in competition at the Raindance Film Festival in 2017. Since then, Louis has written the series Nine, currently in development, and is co-writer on BRI, a series by Jérémiez Guez in development at Canal +. Louis works on various scripts for TV and film. He is 28 and lives in London. He is French and bilingual (French/English), and writes in both languages.
