Jörg Winger is co-creator and producer of the multi-platform series Deutschland 83/86/89. Deutschland 83 won huge national and international acclaim, including the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series, the Grimme Award and the Peabody Award. Jörg Winger produced 300 episodes of the multi-platform prime-time series Soko Leipzig for ZDF. He also created and produced Hackerville, a German-Romanian co-production about cybercrime, for HBO Europe and TNTSerie. Before becoming a producer, Jörg Winger obtained a master's degree in economics and worked as a journalist.
