Delphine Maury

Series B.A. - The Last Abbess

After studying law, medicine, ethnology and publishing, Delphine Maury chose words. First an assistant then a rewriter in technical and then encyclopedic publishing, she spent a few years with Bayard's J'aime lire and DLire magazines as a journalist, columnist and game designer. In 2005, she branched out into the audiovisual field, directing the writing of animated series ( Ariol, Maya l'abeille, etc.).

She went on to write Les Grandes grandes vacances, without feeling like a screenwriter. At the end of 2012, she founded the production company Tant Mieux Prod, to bring to life the En sortant de l'école collection of short films animating Prévert's poems and directed by young animation talents. Since then, nearly a hundred directors have animated texts by Desnos, Apollinaire, Éluard, Verlaine, Roy and Tardieu, and 13 new ones are preparing to honor Andrée Chedid. With the Tant Mieux Prod team, she is developing adaptation projects such as Tobie Lolness and Vango by Timothée de Fombelle, and L'ours et l'ermite by John Yeoman and Quantin Blake.
