Arne Nolting and Jan Martin Scharf are among Germany's hottest scriptwriters of the moment. Together, they created the hit Red Band Society for VOX, which twice won the German Television Award for best series, as well as the Grimme Award.
In 2019, they continued their collaboration with VOX by adapting the Israeli series Dumb, giving birth to Rampensau which has just won the German Television Award for Best Music.
Their original mystery series Weinberg / The Valley (for pay-TV channel TNT Serie) also won the Grimme Award and was sold in many countries.
Nolting and Scharf have been writing series and films since 2005, and their credits include several thrillers and crime series ( Tatort, Der letzte Bulle, Wilsberg, Friesland ). They are currently writing and showrunning a historical series for Netflix: Barbaren.
