A political and historical thriller, Paris Police 1900 promises to plunge us into a Belle Epoque far removed from the collective imagination. Creator, screenwriter and producer Fabien Nury, accompanied by director Julien Despaux and producer Emmanuel Daucé, came to Dominic Schreiber to tell another story, that of the series and its creation.

Paris, 1899. President Félix Faure has just died. The Republic, caught between the Nationalist and anti-Semitic Leagues and the anarchist threat, has never seemed so weak. As Prefect Louis Lépine is recalled to maintain order in Paris, the discovery of a woman's body propels Antoine Jouin, an ambitious young inspector, into the heart of the Prefecture de Police. The investigation also involves Joseph Fiersi, a corrupt inspector who hires courtesan Meg Steinheil as a snitch. All must join forces to save the Republic. Murder, blackmail, plots and coups d'état... Welcome to the Belle Epoque.
