Icelandic biochemist Hrafn Sigurdsson is terminally ill. His only chance of survival is to discover the cure himself. Hrafn opens an academy for gifted students. The academy is a laboratory: he needs children with IQs equal to his own for clinical trials of the treatments he's developing. Hrafn injects drugs into the food during the day and erases his pupils' memories at night. Things go wrong when a basketball player cheats and overdoses: his head explodes. Hrafn now has unruly teenagers and a headless basketball player running around the academy, while the police close in.
