She began her career as a crime writer in the 1980s with Sourire kabyle and Mort d'un fauve.
After an eight-year hiatus, she wrote a children's book, Bienvenue chez les Nasebrocs, and then began a series on the adventures of emergency psychiatrist Véra Cabral. She won awards for 2 volumes in this series: the Ancres noires prize at the Festival du polar du Havre for Notre-Dame des barjots and the grand prix de littérature policière in 2004 for Double peine.
Since 2005, she has concentrated on her work as a scriptwriter for various series.
