Anne Landois began her career as a screenwriter in 1994. The world of the judiciary and thrillers formed the core of her universe, although she also co-wrote sentimental comedies for Belgian television. Her taste for judicial realism and field investigations became clearer, however, through the writing of several projects: Rendez-moi justice (France 3) and above all the series Engrenages (CANAL+), for which she wrote seasons 3 and 4 before becoming showrunner for seasons 5 and 6. Season 5 won the Emmy Award for Best Foreign Series in November 2015. Season 6 marked the end of a 10-year adventure. Since January 2018, Anne Landois has been developing new series projects for her own production company Sortilèges, which she set up with producer Vassili Clert, whose La Promesse, a 6x52', was successfully broadcast in January 2021 on TF1.
